Mark TypienThis two-time all-pro quarterback began his career as a sixth round selection of the Washington Redskins. In 1991, Mark led the Redskins to a Super Bowl (XXVI) championship and was named the Super Bowl Most Valuable Player. As a starting quarterback, he won 49 of 78 regular season games, as well as 5 of 7 postseason games. In Super Bowl XXVI, Mark completed 18 of 33 passes for 292 yards and two touchdowns.

He is an accomplished football player, but the citizen side of his activities causes him to stand out above the rest. Mark has given generously of his time, money and service to countless good causes. The organizations he has assisted include: Heart Foundation; Neediest Kids, Incorporated; Diabetes Research & Education Foundation; Lewiston, Idaho Boy's Club; Taxoma, WA Athletic Commission; and The Holy Family Foundation of Spokane, WA. Mark has been the National Spokesman of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and gives his time to further its purpose. To honor his alma mater he endowed a $150,000 scholarship at Washington State University.
